In addition to residencies at Fusion (the seminal
dance night at London’s Marquee club), The Paradise
Club (the groundbreaking proto-jungle night
in Angel), Oxford’s Latinos (a superb, intimate,
anything-goes musical melting pot) and Uncle
Bob’s Sleazy Disco at Camden’s The Monarch,
they continued to promote and perform at numerous
venues across London, Oxford and the South East.
With a growing reputation for really exciting
parties it wasn’t long before the music industry
opened it’s doors, and the liggers Djs were
asked to play some aftershow parties. The refreshing
change from the ultra-cool homogenous styles
of the ‘names’ of the day was noted, and a growing
number of bands and labels requested the liggers
Djs play their events.
Liggerswithattitude itself was created
to add a brand identity to what had by
now become a unique trademark crowd-pleasing
eclecticism. By 2002 the fracturing of
